Malta Enterprise approve grant funding of up to €1.4M for Garland Surgical

Garland are delighted to announce that Malta Enterprise, Malta’s economic development agency have approved grant funding of up to €1.4M to facilitate the research and development activities required to prepare the MaltaHip for regulatory approval and market launch. In addition to this funding, laboratory space at @Malta Life Sciences Park has been allocated for the operations of the company in Malta.

By supporting the development of the MaltaHip Project, we are not only investing in cutting-edge medical technology but also strengthening Malta’s position as a hub for biotech advancement. The additional provision of laboratory space at Malta Life Sciences Park further underscores our holistic approach to nurturing high-potential startups in our thriving life sciences ecosystem’’ said Malta Enterprise Chief Executive Officer George Gregory. 

Malta Enterprise is also the national contact point for the Enterprise Europe Network through which companies based in Malta can develop links with counterparts in over 60 other countries, further adding to the opportunities for cooperation once the MaltaHip gains market approval.
