We are pleased to announce that Tim Band has joined Garland Surgical as Non-Executive Director and Advisor to the Board.
With a career foundation in metallurgy and engineering in automotive, aerospace & medical devices, Tim brings almost 40 years of experience in orthopaedics to Garland. He has a special interest and passion in developing solutions for the young and active patient.
Tim has an MBA and has held leadership roles in QA, RA, product development, marketing and general management, including site responsibility for a medical device manufacturing facility. He has held a statutory directors’ role as well as having been a board director of various medical device companies.
In his last role Tim was Vice President of the global hip franchise where he was responsible for portfolio management, strategy and the development pipeline.
